This week's second update is now online at Primalrecords.com, with another 60 titles added to our House, Tech-house, Progressive, Techno, and Breaks catalogs. Four new exclusive pre-release whites are in this week from the good folks at Movim and Seductive Records, alongside releases from two brand-new Bay Area labels, Care and Survival. All this in addition to a host of excellent new music out on full release.
Check the shortlist:
BLADE, LIAM J. NABB & SIMONE FABBRONI "Talkin' About The Power" (Original, Patrick Turner, and Ty Tek Mxs) Movim (Promo) [House, Tech-house] Already on release number three, Patrick Turner's Movim imprint is gaining momentum as a serious force to be reckoned with. "Talkin' About The Power" is a track that defines that sound of now - deep, funky, and dubby - while simultaneously paying respect to the past with a classic-sounding vocal that is equal parts New York and Chicago. Wicked!

FREAKS "Blam!" (Extended and Derrick L. Carter Mxs) Music For Freaks [House, Tech-house] The unstoppable creative conglomerate known as the Freaks dishes out another top-shelf slab, this time with a fresh and fiery re-rub from Chi-town's Derrick L. Carter. Twisted and acidic grooves wind their way 'round Diz's erratic vocal delivery, while D's unmistakable shuffle drives the cut ever forward. You know the score!

BURUFUNK "Outsider" (Original and Grayarea Mxs) Navigation [Progressive, Breaks] After being featured on Nick Warren's latest Global Underground mix compilation and remixing the latest BT single, Texan production sensation Burufunk drops "Outsider" on UK based label Navigation. The original mix is a driving and densely layered breaks workout, with a rugged nu-school bassline and enough change-ups to keep the floor guessing. On the flip Grayarea's "Messing With Texas" mix wholly deconstructs the original to the basic sounds, converts the break to a 4/4, and gives it a tough, peak-time edge. An essential tune to push the party into overdrive.
