Update no. 2 is up and online now at Primalrecords.com, with new releases in House, Tech-house, Progressive, Techno, and Breaks all making a showing--as well as a clutch of promos so limited I won't even mention them here for fear of getting your hopes up. The only way to guarantee your fill is to act quick on these.

Otherwise, we've got full stock and we're ready to go. Here's a look at some of our favorites:

MARK FARINA "Time 2 Jack / Talk 2 Me" MFF [House, Tech-house] Oh yeah. Mark Farina on MFF: Can you possibly go wrong? Here, the world famous DJ eschews the deep latin vibes and Mushroom Jazz for a full-on EP of 1985-styled Chicago acid house. It's minimal. It's jackin'. It probably wouldn't have sounded much different if Mr. Fingers wrote it. Am I gushing here?

H-FOUNDATION "New Funk Theory" (Original & Swag Mxs) Soma [House, Tech-house] It's spent the last month on white label and in the box of just about every house jock worth his salt, and let's face it, I wanted it before I even heard it. The newest single from the upcoming H-Foundation album is an attack of bass and vocoded funk, taking the duo out of the West Coast and into a freaky French house vacation. If it couldn't get any more crucial, the folks at Soma enlist the inimitable Swag crew for a show-stealing tech-house rub that stays true to the original's funk factor.

HIPP-E "Body, Don't U Want Some?" EP Ri'que [House, Tech-house] As long as we're talking Hipp-E, let's talk about his latest for the Japanese Ri'que imprint. First of all, he samples Liberty City's "If You Really Love Someone." That's personally enough for me. But then he throws down one of his best productions yet: Low and squelchy bass--not unlike the b-line in the Murk Strikes Again remix of the original classic--propels a raw and techy drum swing underneath warm and enveloping deep house keys. It's one of those records you can play at any point in a set, but drop it in as a builder and watch the room respond. Excellent.

BIONIC BUMP BAND "Boxbumps" EP 20/20 Vision [House, Tech-house] This one's been doing the rounds on promo for a while now and the response has been tremendous. UK tech-house producers Metta & JT Love have made a name for themselves with their own Geek Records imprint (as well as a fantastic remix on Automatic last month); here, they show up and do their thing as the Bionic Bump Band for 20/20. Don't let this one pass you by: Four cuts in all, the entire EP offers up a lesson in funky tech programming in the school of Phil Weeks, Brett Johnson, and David Duriez. Rarely disappointing, 20/20 is on point again.

STEVIE SOLE & GEOFF M feat. OPEN DOOR "Automatic" (Swirl People Mxs) Tronicsole [House] The Pointer Sisters never sounded so good. Tronicsole's Stevie Sole & Geoff M remake this classic with the help of Belgium's deep house ambassadors Swirl People on the remix and find themselves with a future classic on their hands. The Dub is tough and raw and bass-centric, but I can't help but prefer the vocal mix--still under the control of the massive kick drum and b-line, but softened around the edges by the fantastic female vocal. My favorite Swirl People remix to date, easily. It's in my box.

UNKNOWN (Faith Evans) "Steppin" (Boomboy Rmx) / "Keepin' The Faith" (Dante Morgan Rmx) White Label [House, Tech-house] The Midas Entertainment boys continue their hot streak with another fresh batch of illicit mixes. We can't figure out who did the original mix of "Steppin," but we can sure as hell tell you that the remix--not unlike the standout "Night Of A Maze" from the Midas EP--is on fire. On the flip, Faith Evans gets reworked for a classy Lance Desardi-esque vocal house mix. We've got quantity, but this is a limited pressing, so if you want it now, don't sleep.

Also new this week is big new remix and production work from Miguel Migs, Jay-J & Chris Lum, Tiefschwarz, Freaks, 20/20 Vision, Joshua, Dubtribe Sound System, Gav The Freeq & Grant Dell, Haris, Serious Intention (with Joeski remixing this classic!), Dennis Desantis (with Jeff Bennett remix), Jay Tripwire, Alexi Delano & John Selway, Julius Papp & Dave Warrin, Mike Monday, Terminalhead, Saints & Sinners, and new white label mixes of Common featuring Jill Scott, among many others.

New label output from Swag, Distance, Presslab, Seasons, Serial, Hairy Claw, Estereo, Maya, NRK, Gallery, and Kilowatt, amongst others, is also in.

And on the restock front, don't miss out: We've got limited stock on a number of titles from Inland Knights' Drop Music camp, as well as full restocks of the Oh No! Not Another Freaks Bootleg Vol. 2 12-inch and those hot and in-demand illicit mixes of Vanity 6's "Nasty Girl." And certainly last but not least, back in full: DJ Adnan & Amit Shoham's limited white label mixes of Yello, currently being caned by Doc Martin. If you missed it last time (and loads of you did, because it went fast), we've got 'em back
in.

Be good.
