This week's House update at Primalrecords.com is finally up, online, and packed with over 50 new titles coming in and a massive restock of some of your most requested tracks. For now, the shape of house to come:

JAY-J & CHRIS LUM "Internation-all EP" Vista Bay Area house wunderkinds Jay-J and Chris Lum are it again with another quality EP coming from their Moulton Studios home. "Jungle" sets the pace on the A-side with a dubby funked-out house affair with tribal undertones and an infectious percussive chant. Still, my vote goes to the deep rumbling bass of the FX-laden flip, "Latinesta"--this is sex on wax.

DERRICK L. CARTER "Where U At?" Classic If you missed that limited album sampler run from a few months back, then you need this. The first single from Derrick Carter's upcoming full-length artist album, "Where U At?" is an uncontested classic for the Chicago house veteran that has been doing the business for just about every true house DJ on the planet. Raw, visceral, jacked-up beats and the twisted vocals you've come to expect come together for this "most likely to succeed" summer club tune. If this don't get the dancefloor going, you've got problems.

WINK "Superfreak" Ovum If you haven't heard this track by now, then you've most probably read about it. From disparaging remarks to lawsuits to, hell, even DJ playlists, Josh Wink's latest tech-house rub had a career as soon as it came off dubplate. Of course, none of this would have been such a big deal if it weren't for the tune itself, and make no mistake, this one is huge. Somewhere between the Detroit minimalism of "Are You There?" and the Chicago acid of "Higher State," "Superfreak" is an enveloping work. Hear it at home and it's hypnotic; hear it on a system and it's downright ballistic.

WYATT EARP & LITTLE MIKE "Android" (Original and Wyatt Earp & DJ Foxx Mxs) Hochokai Casa del Soul mainman Wyatt Earp strikes out on his own with his Hochokai label and a contender for my tune of the year. Along with co-producer Little Mike, Wyatt constructs tech-house's first real anthem--a funky bass-led ode to, umm, robots. Just listen to the real audio and you'll see why this will do for US tech-house what Tenaglia's "Elements" did for New York tribal house.

Also new this week are remixes and production work from Laj & Quakerman (wicked!), Audio Soul Project, Chris Lum, East Coast Boogiemen, Lance Desardi & Waric Cameron, Joeski, DJ Spettro, Terry Lee Brown, Jr. (remixed by Dano), Underground Sound Of Lisbon (remixes of their Twisted classic "So Get Up" from NYC's Low End Specialists, Dan "Dubby" Robbins, Eric Kupper, and Mert Yucel), Undercover Agency, John Howard, and lots more. New label releases from Leaf, Tilted, Lowdown, Brique Rouge, Paper Recordings, Jamayka, Aroma, Mixture, and Guidance are also in, as are hot restock material from the Loveslap camp, Bluem, MFF, and NRK. We've also got limited restocks from Jay Tripwire's Northern Lights label, and new white label mixes of Prince, Stevie Nicks, and Reflex's '80s classic "The Politics Of Dancing." (White label trainspotters should also note a full restock of
Peter Black's massive remix of Radiohead's "Everything In Its Right Place"--back in our online shop now.)

Thanks again for all, and be good!
