The week's second update is online now at Primalrecords.com and, this time, we've got dozens of new additions to our expanding Leftfield and Dub section (It's new! Check it out!), as well as hot new releases from Masters At Work, DJ Buck, Mark Grant, and Doc Martin. All that and a brand new white label from our friends at Big Chief. Here's the skinny:

CUTLAB "Loud Kissin'" (Original & Asad Rizvi Mxs) Big Chief (Promo) [House, Progressive, Tech-house] Along with restocking us on white label copies of their new release with SF folk David Coleman & Sen-sei (you'll want to check that out, too), the Big Chief crew have also let us in on a limited supply of white label records from Cutlab--here remixed by Silverlining / Impossible Beings mainman Asad Rizvi. The original mix is a bit of a big room twist for the label, weaving in and out of the tribal progressive domain while sporting a slightly techno edge. But it's Rizvi's stunning tech-house groover that sets the tone for this record as a tough bottomy groove falls nicely underneath punchy tech-synth stabs and a blissfully dubbed out vocal. And the heaving sub-bass? No Real Audio sample could do it justice. As always, this is first come, first serve.

UNKNOWN (JODECI) "Body / Style" (East Coast Boogiemen and Oh Dee & Chuck Weasel Rmxs) White Label [House, Tech-house] As if this week's Tweet remixes wasn't enough to satiate our R&B-House remix jones, the always on-point East Coast Boogiemen take a stab at a Jodeci track alongside Oh Dee & Chuck Diesel. Both mixes warrant your attention: Oh Dee & Chuck Diesel bring it on in a Chicago style--squelching and bleeping their way through a solid display of dirty funk. For the flip, ECB conjure up a deeper vibe without neglecting one of the filthiest bass lines to have come across my desk in quite some time. It's festive and funky, and if you were feeling the duo's work for Brique Rouge this year, you're going to want to have this. Quality.

ALEXANDER EAST "Nuggs & Huggs" (Original & Bryan Gerrard Mxs) Planet East [House] With all the upbeat and techy house that comes through our doors, some of the deeper house-heads might wonder where their fix is. This is the one. Following a truly impressive and diverse batch of releases for Moody, Aroma, and others, Alexander East strikes out with his own Planet East label and an absolutely wicked deep houser called "Nuggs & Huggs." Here, East carefully chooses not to sacrifice groove for aura, and as such, he succeeds where others in the genre fail: Warm and lush keys accent a choppy bass line that should light the fire on any deep dancefloor's feet. Bryan Gerrard's remix boosts up the tempo and adds a jazzy vibe without compromising the track's depth, but I've got my mind on East's heady original.

Also new with this update is remix and production work from Earth Deuley, Wyatt Earp & DJ Foxx, DJ Buck, Lego, Filterheadz, DJ Sneak, Q-Burns Abstract Message, King Kooba (remixed by Kaskade and Afro-mystik among others), Kenny Dope, David Duriez, Mateo & Matos, Onionz, and all of the aforementioned stars.

Label-wise, we're looking at a busy week for Shaboom, Vibernt, Bosh, Quad Communications, Aroma, Pitch Black, Low Pressings, NRK, Playhouse, OM, Brique Rouge, Mantis, and much more.

And finally, don't forget to check out our Restock catalog. This week sees a heavy restock on Tango's Moulton Manglers EP, Sombionx & Lindsey's latest for Extract / Viva, Kaskade's newie for Moezee, and--holy deal!--the long-awaited repress of Joshua's classic "Roots & Wings / Come Over 2 My Place" on12-inch vinyl.

Have a good weekend!
